Job summary

Department of Transport & Planning Victoria – Melbourne VIC is launching a two-year Fixed Term Graduate position as a Vicmap Officer. You will join the Vicmap team within Data & Digital to transform foundational spatial data, translate customer needs into data requirements, and support QA across imagery, elevation and 3D data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in geospatial science, GIS, data science or a related discipline.
• Exposure to spatial data, data infrastructures, databases or platforms.
• Interest in remote sensing, imagery, elevation or 3D data.

Responsibilities

• Join the Vicmap team within Data & Digital to support data production and delivery.
• Translate customer needs into data/product requirements and assist QA of spatial data.
• Contribute across imagery, elevation and 3D data products to build geospatial capabilities.
