Your role

Evolution Mining's geologists play a key role in the discovery, definition and understanding of their ore deposits. The Graduate Program will enable you to develop skills and experience within the site geological teams including Discovery, Resource Definition and Mining.

Some of the key result areas in this role may include:

• Gain Evolution Mine Site and Exploration experience within the Discovery and geology Functions via site placement and project exposure in mining and exploration environments
• Build a technical understanding of Mineral Systems and the processes and techniques involved with the exploration, definition and extraction of gold
• Contribute as part of a diverse professional team including geoscience and technical colleagues, mining engineers, surveyors, operators, field and support staff and contractors
• Support and provide assistance with daily activities within the Geology team, which may include:
  • Collecting and interpreting geological data
  • Supervising geological work programs
  • Working in operating open pit and/or underground mines

About you

Requirements:

• Degree qualification in science majoring in Geology. Geoscience, Geophysics (Honours strongly preferred) or a similar degree
• A genuine passion for Geoscience and a desire to work on diverse ore deposits
• Ability to coordinate a range of activities within a demanding environment
