Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking General Services Officers for Killara Glades Care Community in Sydney to support dining, cleaning, laundry, and resident wellbeing. You will be part of a warm, supportive team delivering outstanding service in a compassionate, values-led environment.

The role offers interesting variety, a friendly culture, and opportunities for career development through the Opal HealthCare Academy. Training will be provided; pre-employment medicals and screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning or customer service is beneficial, but training will be provided.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Food Service: Deliver outstanding customer service in our dining room, serve meals with care, and know resident preferences.
• Housekeeping: Ensure resident rooms and community areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, paying attention to detail.
• Laundry: Provide essential service by managing residents’ personal laundry with respect and care.
• Follow safety, sanitary, and infection control protocols in all tasks.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Need:

Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or customer service is beneficial, but not essential – we will train the right person!
