Job description

Job Title: General Practitioner - Gladstone, Queensland.

Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time.

Practice Information:
This is a well-established family practice with a loyal and increasing patient base. The doctors are very well supported by friendly nurses and an admin team. 4Cyte pathology has a collection centre inside the practice, and a pharmacy is immediately next door. The services include General Consults, minor procedures, men-women-children health, chronic disease management, skin procedures, cryotherapy, mental health, work cover, and employment medicals.

Position Description:
The General Practitioner role is to provide comprehensive medical care to individuals, families, and the community (from initial consultation to resolution) on simple and complex health conditions. The General Practitioner provides a range of health services from prevention of illness through to treatment and rehabilitation. The position requires consultation with other health professionals as required and coordinating ongoing care. The General Practitioner continues to assist patients in their community by providing ongoing education, participating in health promotion, conducting research, and assisting in training colleagues and other health professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:
An Australian Recognized Medical Degree with relevant experience in the field of General Practice or in the hospital setting.

Salary Information:
60% of billings
