Job summary

Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) in Darwin is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our Aboriginal community-controlled primary health care team. You will provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive care to clients attending Saturday clinics, working with a multidisciplinary team.

What you need to apply?

Desirable:

• Experience in Indigenous or Northern Territory primary health care


• Supervisory experience with GP registrars


• Familiarity with Communicare


• Knowledge of Medicare and Practice Incentive Programs


• Understanding of Aboriginal Health Worker career structures

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer support and financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
