Job summary

Indigenous Wellbeing Centre in Bundaberg invites a General Practitioner to join our growing Medical Team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with onsite pathology, imaging and strong nurse and allied health support, delivering patient-centred care in a community-focused clinic.

We are seeking a passionate General Practitioner to join our growing Medical Team on either a full-time or part-time basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a GP at IWC, you will become part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team committed to improving health outcomes within our community.

Our modern medical clinic is supported by:

• Experienced Registered Nurses and Indigenous Health Practitioners
• Onsite pathology and imaging services
• Visiting specialists and allied health professionals
• Dedicated administration and corporate support teams

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM; or
• Be a GP Registrar on an approved training pathway and eligible to claim A1 rates
• Bachelor of Medicine (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Strong commitment to patient-centred care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Current Driver Licence (or ability to obtain)
• Current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain)

IWC is the only clinic to be delivering the POD model in the Wide Bay area and by doing this aim to achieve best health outcomes for Bundaberg and surrounding areas that access our clinic.
