Better Medical’s Your Doctor in Aged Care service supports GPs to deliver comprehensive, proactive care for residents in aged-care settings. Our model removes administrative barriers and provides centralised IT, HR, and payroll support.

We foster collaboration with nursing staff and facility management to ensure continuity of care, timely consultations, and better health outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• FRACGP, FACRRM, or UK/Ireland/New Zealand–trained GP eligible for the Australian Specialist GP pathway.

Responsibilities

Better Medical’s dedicated mobile aged care GP service is named Your Doctor in Aged Care.

At Your Doctor in Aged Care, our services are built to remove the administrative and operational barriers often faced in residential aged-care settings. We provide a structured, fully supported model that empowers GPs to deliver comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive medical care for residents.

Our experienced team manages the administrative, clinical, and logistical tasks required to ensure smooth communication, timely consultations, and accurate care coordination. This support framework allows GPs to focus on what matters most — providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
