Radical Recruitment is partnering with a doctor-led practice in Townsville, QLD to appoint a General Practitioner on a full-time or part-time basis. The role offers clinical autonomy within a collaborative team and an established patient base.

Relocation assistance is available, and there is guaranteed full clinical autonomy with opportunities to develop areas of clinical interest. FRACGP/FACRRM/FARGP or equivalent vocational registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventative healthcare and patient education.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and develop personalised treatment plans.
• Order and interpret pathology, imaging and diagnostic investigations.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and coordinate referrals.
• Teach and mentor Registrars and medical students where possible.

About the Role

As a General Practitioner, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred healthcare while maintaining best-practice clinical standards within a supportive, purpose-built facility and an experienced, collaborative team.

Your responsibilities will include providing preventative healthcare and patient education, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications and developing personalised treatment plans, ordering and interpreting pathology, imaging, and diagnostic investigations, maintaining accurate clinical records, and coordinating specialist referrals. Participation in teaching and mentoring of Registrars and medical students is available but not mandatory.
