Health Workforce Queensland is assisting a busy Townsville family practice to recruit a VR General Practitioner. This permanent role offers either full-time or part-time hours, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, with no after-hours, weekend or public holidays.

The practice provides comprehensive nursing and admin support, bulk billing for Medicare-eligible patients, and operates alongside pharmacy and pathology services.

• Valid authority to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide health assessments and immunisations for patients.
• Perform procedures with nursing and administrative support.
• Manage patient consultations within a Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00 schedule.

Practice Information:

This established family practice is located in a busy Townsville suburb and services a diverse patient population. The practice is co-located with pharmacy and pathology services, surrounded by allied health providers, and situated within walking distance of a major shopping centre. Universal bulk billing is offered to Medicare-eligible patients, with selected services including iron infusions, skin excisions and other procedures attracting out-of-pocket fees.

Position Description:

This practice is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time VR General Practitioner to join a well-established primary healthcare team.

• Comprehensive nursing and administrative support for health assessments, immunisations, procedures and administrative tasks
• Flexible working hours
• Operating hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
• No weekend or public holiday workRemuneration of 70% of billings
