Priority Medical Centre in Harris Park, NSW is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to join our busy general practice. The role is available on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis and requires organisational, reliable and confident team players.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will triage patients, assist with procedures, manage the treatment room and provide high-quality nursing care and exceptional service to our patients.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn practice software.
• A professional, reliable and motivated approach to work.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Previous experience in general practice or a medical centre is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Triaging patients and assisting with clinical assessments.
• Wound care, dressings and wound management.
• Administering immunisations and vaccinations.
• Conducting health checks and other general practice nursing duties.
• Assisting doctors with procedures and patient care as required.
• Managing and maintaining the treatment room.
• Responding to general patient inquiries.
• Booking and coordinating patient appointments.
• Assisting with telephone reception duties when required.
• Coordinating appointments between doctors, allied health professionals and patients.
