ForHealth in Australia is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our general practice team. You will deliver high-quality clinical care, administer vaccinations, perform diagnostic tests, and support chronic disease management with GP collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Bachelor of Nursing qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical nursing experience
• Previous General Practice or Primary Care experience (highly regarded)
• Experience in Chronic Disease Management and preventative health programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent clinical assessment and organisational abilities
• Sound computer literacy and experience using clinical management systems

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care within a general practice setting
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and perform diagnostic testing including ECGs and spirometry
• Perform wound care, dressings, suture removal, bandaging, and plastering
• Assist with triage and emergency management when required
• Support GPs with Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, and Chronic Disease Management activities
• Coordinate care and follow-up for patients living with chronic conditions
• Conduct health assessments and preventative health initiatives
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatments, and available healthcare services
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Support quality improvement, accreditation, and infection control activities
