Northern Health is seeking General Medicine Physicians to join our busy General Medicine service in 2027. Opportunities include permanent ward service across Northern Hospital Epping and Broadmeadows Medicine Units, with a Friday morning weekly round in the Emergency Observation Unit for rapid turnover medicine.

Employment arrangements will be offered as Permanent, Permanent + Locum, and Locum appointments, with additional locum opportunities for weekend rounds and coverage throughout 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in general medicine within an acute care setting.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Commitment to continuous improvement in clinical services and quality initiatives.
• Strong communication with patients, staff and stakeholders.
• Interest in education and training within a hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide general medicine ward service across Northern Hospital Epping and Broadmeadows units.
• Participate in routine rounds and rapid turnover short-stay medicine.
• Cover leave across medical units, outpatients and ED assessment rounds as needed.
• Contribute to education and training within the hospital setting.
