Job summary

Sharp & Carter Supply Chain VIC seeks a General Manager to assume full operational leadership across production, supply, quality, R&D and finance, guiding a phased handover in year one. You will drive a major capital program, including new processing rooms, packing lines, a warehouse, automation and an ERP implementation.

You will represent the business with global partners and customers, lead international growth, and work with the board to shape the strategy and leverage a defined path to CEO.

Qualifications

• Senior GM or operations leadership in regulated manufacturing.
• Strong grounding in GMP and therapeutic or high-end food settings.
• Track record of leading and aligning multi-function teams.
• Experience delivering capital projects, automation or ERP change.
• Commercial acumen and comfort working with boards and investors.
• Exposure to international markets is highly regarded.
• MBA or relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
• High EQ, curious and a strong listener who builds trust.

About the Role

This is a rare chance to step into a newly created General Manager position at a pivotal point in the business's growth. You will take full operational leadership of the business, including production, supply, quality, R&D and finance, through a phased handover over the first 12 months. You will lead a major capital program, including new processing rooms, packing lines, a new warehouse, automation and a new ERP. You will represent the business with global partners and customers.
