Job summary

Spinifex Recruiting is seeking reliable General Labourers for casual, on-call work across the Tweed Shire. From $33+ per hour + super, you’ll join our pool for short-notice assignments.

Applicants should be physically fit, have a current White Card and a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport, and be ready to start ASAP. Prior labouring or construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in labouring, construction, council, warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labour tasks across civil construction, parks, water, warehousing.
• Follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Be ready to start quickly and adapt to varying roles.

We're building a pool of reliable, physically fit General Labourers across the Tweed Shire who are ready to jump into work at short notice.

As a leading recruitment and labour hire company, we receive last-minute requests for labourers across a wide range of industries and need people who are ready to go when the work comes in.

You could find yourself working in:

• Civil construction and infrastructure
• Parks and Gardens
• Water and Wastewater
• Warehousing, picking and packing
• General labouring and maintenance
• Local Council projects and divisions
• Short-term jobs that could lead to ongoing opportunities

What we're looking for:

• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and ready to turn up and work hard
• Current White Card
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Available to start ASAP
• PPE ready to go
• Previous labouring, construction, council, warehouse or other physically demanding experience is a must!

Plant tickets and MR/HR licences are a bonus, but we still need people who are happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the physical work.
