Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Gardening Assistant to join our casual staffing pool supporting landscapers, builders, and related trades across Ipswich region. Immediate start with reliable weekly pay and opportunities for permanent roles based on performance.

You'll perform site prep, material handling, dig/ trench, wheelbarrow, and assist qualified tradespeople on residential and commercial projects. Must have 12 months general labour experience and a Construction White Card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required
