Job summary

DSC Personnel is seeking a General Factory Hand for a busy Kings Park production team. This hands-on role offers a temp-to-perm pathway, with an early 6:00am start and a 6:00am–2:30pm Monday to Friday schedule. Immediate start is available for a reliable, practical candidate who is comfortable using hand tools.

You will work across production tasks, assist with cutting, assembly and packing, and contribute to a safe, efficient work area while developing your skills toward a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, reliable and able to work with tools.
• Willing to multiskill and jump in where needed.
• Practical mindset and can-do attitude.
• Full Australian working rights required; permanent residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and preparing pipes, hoses and materials to size.
• Hose and pipe sleeving and assembly.
• Using hand tools and basic workshop equipment.
• Measuring, assembling and preparing products.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders.
• Moving materials and assisting across different workstations.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Multiskilling across various factory duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• Robust, fit and physically capable of hands-on manual work
• Good with tools and confident working with your hands
• Previous factory, production, assembly, workshop or labouring experience highly regarded
• Willing to multiskill and jump in wherever needed
• Practical mindset with a can-do attitude
• Reliable, punctual and keen to learn
• Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable working at a steady pace in a busy production environment
• Available for early 6:00am starts
• Available for an immediate start
• Full Australian working rights required; permanent residents preferred
