Job description

Are you looking for a supportive workplace with an amazing team culture? A place where Friday afternoons mean unwinding with a glass of wine as we reflect on the week, where team days bring us together, and where you're valued—not just with support but with excellent remuneration, job security, four weeks of annual leave, and sick leave, all while earning as much (if not more) than a contractor?

If this sounds like what you’ve been searching for, we’d love to meet you!

Tasks

We're seeking a psychologist who is passionate about conducting specialist assessments for Autism, ADHD, and other developmental differences in children and adolescents, while also enjoying the therapeutic side of the role. We will work with you to develop a caseload of clients that you love seeing!

Requirements

What’s in it for you?

  • Ability to work towards an ideal week that suits your lifestyle (we won’t make you work evenings or weekends!);
  • An above award base salary and a revenue sharing program that means you benefit from your hard work - AND full time employees only need to consult 4 days per week!;
  • Feeling financially secure in your role with 4 weeks paid annual leave plus sick leave so you can comfortably take time off without worrying how it will affect your income;
  • $1500 professional development contribution each year or a dedicated Registrar Program which includes individual and group supervision with a team of board-approved supervisors;
  • A specific induction plan designed to guide you through your first 100 days with us and teach you everything you need to know;
  • Opportunities for career progression based on your professional and personal goals - we will help you build a career pathway that helps you reach these.
Benefits

What can you expect from us?

  • We aren’t a clinic who will just make you see as many clients as possible and burn you out - we want to build you a manageable caseload because we care about your wellbeing!
  • A tightly knit team of absolute legends who want to make the world a better place and don’t take themselves too seriously in the process;
  • Regular one-on-one mentoring with the clinic directors depending on your needs;
  • A workplace where your opinions are valued and where you will have an impact on the overall clinic;
  • Access to an extensive library of clinical tools and resources, including assessments, professional development material, iPads, and your own laptop;
  • CAKE! We strongly believe in celebrating birthdays, and your favourite treat will always be waiting for you on your special day.

We believe that bringing out the best in our team members leads to the best experiences for our clients. If this sounds like something you are after, we want to talk with you more about this opportunity.

The details:

  • This role is full time or part time;
  • Applicants are required to have full registration as a (general/registrar/endorsed) Psychologist with AHPRA;
  • Ability to apply for a Medicare provider number.
