This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute and learn within a supportive and driven team! Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide professional accounting, taxation and business advisory services to a portfolio of individual and business clients.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legislative requirements
• Prepare and review income tax returns and related tax compliance requirements for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and other entities
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and other statutory and taxation-related lodgements
• Assist clients with tax planning and provide practical taxation advice based on their individual circumstances and business objectives
• Assist clients with budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, financial planning and analysis to support business decision-making
• Review and maintain clients’ accounting records and general ledgers, including reconciliations and other accounting functions as required
• Identify financial, taxation and compliance issues and provide appropriate advice and recommendations to clients
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their businesses, financial objectives and ongoing needs
• Ensure all client work is completed accurately, efficiently and withing required deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgement when dealing with sensitive client financial and commercial information
• Provide general accounting, taxation and business advisory support to clients and other team members as required

Essential Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
