Job summary

Quantium in Australia is seeking a Data Scientist to contribute to GenAI and AI/ML solutions for large organisations. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and client teams to solve complex business problems using LLMs, machine learning and cloud technologies.

You will build production‑grade GenAI apps in Python (LangChain, LangGraph), work with AWS/Azure/GCP and Docker, and design data pipelines with SQL and DBT while communicating clearly with non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (CS, maths, stats, engineering) or equivalent demonstrated capability.
• 2–4 years in data science, AI/ML development, or related technical roles.
• Strong Python, SQL and data pipeline fundamentals.
• Experience with GenAI/LLM applications and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building production‑grade GenAI and LLM applications.
• Work with cloud platforms and containerisation to deliver AI solutions.
• Design evaluation frameworks and observability metrics for quality.
• Develop APIs and data pipelines using SQL, DBT, and orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with clients and engineers to communicate technical concepts.
