Job summary

Omni Recruit is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to service automated and sliding gate systems in Dandenong South, VIC. The role offers a full-time on-site position with a competitive salary and company vehicle, supporting continued training and career development.

You will diagnose faults, repair motors and control boards, perform preventative maintenance, and install new automation components while building strong customer relationships. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working on automated equipment such as gates, doors or shutters.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on automated and manual sliding gates.
• Repair motors, gearboxes, rollers, tracks, sensors and control boards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot low‑voltage electrical and access control systems.
• Install new automation components and gate systems.
