Job summary

Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) is seeking a Consultant Gastroenterologist with current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship with RACP. The role requires CCRTGE recognition for adult upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy, and the ability to manage complex GI and hepatologic problems.

The position emphasizes effective communication across all levels and fostering harmonious relationships within the team and with patients.

Qualifications

• Be a Consultant Gastroenterologist with current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
• CCRTGE recognition of training for adult upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Able to manage complex gastrointestinal and hepatologic problems, integrating knowledge, clinical skills and judgement.
• Communicate effectively at all levels and promote harmonious relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert gastroenterology care within a private practice setting.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and refer patients as needed.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, ethics and professional conduct.

Description

Private practice in Gastroenterology of 31 years. Access to lists at 2 private hospitals. Set in single level solo practice with off street parking and 2 consulting rooms.

Requirements
