Job summary

Sigma Aerospace Workforce is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Engine Technician to support gas turbine engine maintenance at Adelaide Airport, SA. The role focuses on gas turbine engines and aircraft components, with hands-on fitting, inspection and maintenance tasks.

You will work on PT6A, TPE331, F404/F414, F135 or AGT1500 platforms in an MRO environment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while contributing to Defence and aviation maintenance projects in Australia.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitting and engine technician experience in MRO/Defence.
• Experience with gas turbine engines and aircraft components in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fitting, inspection and maintenance tasks on gas turbine engines and aircraft components.
• Support engine strip, build, repair, overhaul and component maintenance activities.
• Work on engine systems and related mechanical assemblies in line with approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow quality and safety requirements.
• Support MRO and engineering teams in a technical aviation maintenance environment.
