TAE Aerospace is seeking highly motivated Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technicians for its Bundamba, Ipswich facility. You will work on the F414, F135 and M1 Abrams AGT1500 engines, performing heavy maintenance and ensuring strict adherence to approved publications and safety practices.

You will document work in progress, support supervisory duties, and continuously seek efficiency improvements while ensuring customer aircraft remain safely airborne.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of strip, detailed inspection and assembly of the gas turbine engine.
• Knowledge and experience with airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and fill maintenance worksheets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to meet regulatory requirements.
• Commitment to safety and delivering reliable service to customers.

Responsabilités

• Perform heavy engine maintenance including strip, inspection and assembly.
• Ensure work complies with publications, data and work instructions.
• Maintain progress documentation for ongoing work.
• Carry out maintenance supervisory/inspection duties as required by aviation regulators.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prioritise safety for yourself and others on site.
