Job summary

Innovative Garden Group is seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to run a small crew across high-end residential gardens on Sydney's Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs. You’ll plan, supervise, and deliver top-quality maintenance work with a strong client focus.

This full-time role includes driving a company ute between sites, mentoring junior team members, and upholding safe horticultural practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in garden maintenance, horticulture or landscape maintenance.
• Experience leading a team or running jobs is highly regarded.
• Current driver's licence and confidence driving a ute between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small crew on site, setting the pace and the standard for every job.
• Plan and run the day’s work, ensuring each property is completed to a high standard and on time.
• Carry out all aspects of garden maintenance including pruning, hedging, planting, mowing, weeding and general upkeep.
• Be the main point of contact for clients on site, building strong, ongoing relationships.
• Train and guide junior team members in good horticultural practice and safe work habits.
• Look after the company ute, tools and equipment, keeping everything clean, safe and well maintained.
• Travel between sites across the Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join our close-knit team on a full-time basis. You'll run your own crew across a portfolio of stunning, high-end residential gardens, where attention to detail and care for the client's property is everything. A company ute is provided.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a small crew on site, setting the pace and the standard for every job

Plan and run the day's work, making sure each property is completed to a high standard and on time

Carry out all aspects of garden maintenance including pruning, hedging, planting, mowing, weeding and general upkeep

Be the main point of contact for clients on site, building strong, ongoing relationships

Train and guide junior team members in good horticultural practice and safe work habits

What We're Looking For

Happy to travel to sites across the Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs
