Job summary

Programmed is seeking experienced Gardening Labourers to join our team across Brisbane and Ipswich. You will perform general gardening and commercial grounds maintenance, operating ride-on mowers and other equipment such as brush cutters and hedge trimmers.

Locations include Strathpine, Brisbane to Ipswich, and Ipswich areas, with an immediate start and a consistent 38-hour week on a Monday–Friday roster. Site inductions and location-specific checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial gardening or grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Experience operating commercial grounds maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding duties.

Job description

Our client is currently seeking experienced and reliable Gardening Labourers to join our team across multiple locations throughout Brisbane and Ipswich.

We have several opportunities available for motivated individuals with experience in commercial grounds maintenance who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in their work.

Available Locations

• Strathpine: Working across the Strathpine area.

• Brisbane to Ipswich: Various locations between Brisbane City and Ipswich.

• Ipswich: Working across the Ipswich area.

All positions are available for an immediate start.

About the Role

Working as part of an experienced grounds maintenance team, your duties will include:

• General gardening and commercial grounds maintenance.

• Operating ride‑on mowers and other grounds maintenance equipment.

• Using brush cutters, blowers and hedge trimmers.

• Mowing, edging, pruning and maintaining outdoor areas.

• General site clean‑up and green waste removal.

• Ensuring grounds are maintained to a high standard.

About You

To be successful in these roles, you will have:

• Previous experience in commercial gardening or grounds maintenance.

• A current and valid Driver's Licence.

• Experience operating commercial grounds maintenance equipment.

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

• The ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding duties.

Additional Requirements

Please note the following requirements apply depending on the location:

• Strathpine: Current Working with Children Blue Card.

• Brisbane to Ipswich: Willing to complete Police Check

• Ipswich: Willing to complete Police Check

Site inductions will also be required prior to commencing at applicable locations.
