Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Gardener/Landscaper to join the Commercial Centres Team on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week). You will maintain landscapes within the council’s commercial centres and support minor repairs of related infrastructure, contributing to a safe, well-presented public realm.

Ideal candidates will have a White Card, a minimum C Class Driver's Licence, at least 6 months' parks & gardens, landscaping or horticulture experience and a Chemical Certificate

Qualifications

• White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
• Minimum C Class Driver's Licence with a good driving record
• Minimum 6 months parks & gardens, landscaping or horticulture experience
• Chemical Certificate or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• To perform landscape maintenance within the commercial centres of the Northern Beaches LGA
• To perform minor repairs of infrastructure within the commercial areas
• To work cohesively in a team to deliver a safe environment for the community
