Job summary

Sweet Pea Garden Maintenance is seeking a reliable Garden Maintenance Team Member to join our small, dedicated Sydney team. You’ll maintain residential gardens across the Lower North Shore, performing mowing, pruning, hedges, weeding and planting to keep clients’ outdoor spaces thriving.

We offer a full-time role with a friendly team, quality tools, and opportunities to grow your skills while taking on more responsibility as you prove yourself.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual and with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work outdoors and stay physically active.

Responsibilities

• General garden maintenance and tidy‑ups.
• Lawn mowing and edging.
• Hedge and shrub trimming.
• Weeding and garden bed maintenance.
• Pruning and plant care.
• Green waste removal.
• Planting and garden improvements.
• Using and maintaining garden equipment.
• Keeping gardens and work areas clean and presentable.
• Providing friendly and professional service to clients.

Garden Maintenance Team Member

Sweet Pea Garden Maintenance — Sydney's Lower North Shore

$33–$38 per hour + super, depending on experience

Sweet Pea Garden Maintenance is looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Garden Maintenance Team Member to join our growing team.

We provide high-quality garden maintenance to residential properties across Sydney's Lower North Shore. We're a small team that takes pride in doing things properly, looking after our clients and creating gardens that we're proud of.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and is looking for more than just a job.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside our experienced team maintaining beautiful residential gardens throughout the Lower North Shore.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• General garden maintenance and tidy‑ups
• Lawn mowing and edging
• Hedge and shrub trimming
• Weeding and garden bed maintenance
• Pruning and plant care
• Green waste removal
• Planting and garden improvements
• Using and maintaining garden equipment
• Keeping gardens and work areas clean and presentable
• Providing friendly and professional service to our clients

Every day is different, and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your gardening and horticultural skills as you gain experience.

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is reliable and punctual

• Enjoys working outdoors and being physically active
• Has good attention to detail
• Is friendly and respectful when working at clients' homes
• Can work well as part of a small team
• Is willing to learn and develop their skills
• Takes care of tools, equipment and vehicles
• Has previous gardening, horticulture or landscaping experience (preferred, but not essential)

A current driver's licence is preferred.
