Job summary

Connectus Recruitment is seeking 5 reliable Garden Maintenance Labourers to join an established parks and grounds maintenance team based in Wyndham shire. Offering consistent 40 hour working weeks, immediate starts and genuine opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidates.

Work will primarily be across Wyndham, with some sites throughout Moorabool Shire. You must be physically fit, reliable and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and reliable for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Must meet licensing and safety checks on day one.
• MR/HR licence is advantageous for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, edging and brushcutting
• Garden maintenance, pruning, hedging and weeding
• Mulching, planting, watering and topdressing
• Herbicide spraying and irrigation maintenance
• Litter collection and general site clean-ups
• Cleaning BBQ facilities, park furniture and public spaces

About the Role:
Connectus Recruitment is seeking 5 reliable and hardworking Garden Maintenance Labourers to join an established parks and grounds maintenance team based in Wyndham shire
Offering consistent 40 hour working weeks, immediate starts and genuine opportunities for permanent employment for the right candidates.
Work will primarily be across Wyndham, with some sites throughout Moorabool Shire. (Western suburbs)

Key Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, edging and brushcutting
• Garden maintenance, pruning, hedging and weeding
• Mulching, planting, watering and topdressing
• Herbicide spraying and irrigation maintenance
• Litter collection and general site clean-ups
• Cleaning BBQ facilities, park furniture and public spaces

Essential Requirements Applicants MUST hold:

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence (MR and HR truck licence advantageous)
• Construction White Card
• Employee Working with Children Check

You must also be physically fit, reliable, punctual and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Previous garden maintenance experience is advantageous but not essential.
All required licences and checks must be presented on your first day.
