Job summary

Marina Tavern on Hamilton Island is seeking a Gaming Attendant to join the gaming lounge team. You’ll monitor gaming operations, deliver friendly, professional service, and help create a welcoming, safe environment for guests.

Essential with this role are proven experience in pokies, TAB and Keno, plus current QLD RSA and RSG certificates. A positive attitude, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are required; Subsidised staff accommodation is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gaming operations including pokies, TAB, and Keno (essential)
• Current QLD RSA certificate (essential)
• Current QLD RSG certificate (essential)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings and weekends
• Open driver’s licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gaming facilities including pokies, TAB, and Keno
• Provide excellent customer service within the gaming lounge
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Gambling requirements
• Process transactions accurately and handle cash securely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming gaming environment
• Assist with food and beverage service if required during quieter periods

We’re seeking an experienced and customer-focused Gaming Attendant to join our friendly team. This role is ideal for someone with strong gaming knowledge who enjoys creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for guests.

Your Role

As a Gaming Attendant, you’ll primarily work within the gaming lounge, ensuring all gaming operations run smoothly and compliantly while delivering friendly, professional service to every guest.
