Job summary

Anglicare Victoria's Gambler's Help program seeks to minimise harms through evidence-based therapeutic counselling across a range of modalities tailored to individual needs. You will work within the Bendigo office with outreach to Kyneton and Echuca offices, providing services to individuals, couples and families affected by gambling related harm.

A strong focus is on delivering person-centred, trauma-informed care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification at Degree level in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health and/or related behavioural sciences.
• Eligibility for membership with professional bodies: Provisional registration with Psychology Board of Australia; or Full, graduate or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with the Australian Association of Social Workers; or PACFA membership in the family/relationship therapy or general counselling/psychotherapy sections.
• Full Victorian Drivers Licence.
• Demonstrated experience in the provision of individual, couple, family and group counselling designed to address addiction behaviours and its impact or in another related field that is transferable.
