Hawkesbury City Council in Windsor is seeking a part-time Gallery and Museum Coordinator to support high-quality services at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery and Museum. You will help keep spaces welcoming, well-managed and accessible for residents and visitors, reporting to the Gallery and Museum Coordinator.

The role requires a positive, proactive customer-service approach, strong organisational skills, and relevant gallery/museum experience along with essential checks and licences.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The Role

Based in Windsor and reporting to the Gallery and Museum Coordinator, this role supports the delivery of high-quality services across the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, and Hawkesbury Regional Museum. You will play a key part in ensuring these spaces are welcoming, professionally managed, and accessible to both residents and visitors.

About You

You are a reliable and confident professional with experience in gallery or museum operations, including supervising staff or volunteers, with ability to implement safety and security procedures . You are positive and proactive when interacting with the public, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Your ability to lead and support others, along with your strong organisational skills, will be essential to your success in this role.

• Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• the right to live and work in Australia
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Class C Driver Licence
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
• Tertiary qualifications or working towards gaining a qualification in visual arts, history or a related field
