Job summary

Aeropower operates in Australia with busy flight schools in Redcliffe, QLD and Bankstown, NSW. We seek a pilot to teach CPL theory while receiving training for their flight instructor rating.

Training conducted in-house at no cost with a reasonable return of service expected. The ideal candidate will hold CPL(H), have 250 hours rotary flight time and 100 hours rotary PIC, and possess an ASIC along with a strong CPL(H) theory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPL(H) with current ratings and clear medical.
• Minimum 250 hours rotary flight time and 100 hours rotary PIC.
• Current ASIC and strong knowledge of CPL(H) theory.

Responsibilities

• Teach CPL theory at our Redcliffe-based flight school.
• Support trainee pilots through instructor rating training.
• Maintain safe training standards and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking to employ a pilot to teach CPL theory whilst receiving training for their flight instructor rating. Join our busy flying school based at Redcliffe, QLD and be part of a talented and passionate team delivering high quality, safety focused training to Australia’s next generation of helicopter pilots.

Training for your instructor rating will be conducted in house at no cost to you and a reasonable return of service will be expected.

• CPL(H)
• 250 hours rotary flight time

• A strong understanding of the CPL(H) theory knowledge

Preferred:

• Cabri G2 experience
• Previous adult education or other teaching experience
• Cert IV in training and checking

The ideal candidate is motivated and enthusiastic about training and passing on their knowledge and skills to the next generation of pilots. A firm grasp of the rules, regulations and CPL(H) theory knowledge is essential.
