The Queensland Government invites graduates to join the Future Leaders Graduate Program, a two-year rotation across government that delivers hands-on experience and real-world challenges. You’ll work on housing, health, education, economic development, Brisbane 2032 preparations and more while gaining development opportunities and mentoring.

Ideal candidates are collaborative, strong communicators and adaptable, with a bachelor’s degree and a passion to make a difference for Queenslanders.

Qualifications

• Completion of a bachelor's degree (equivalent of a level seven qualification) between 31 October 2025 and 31 January 2028.
• Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or have a visa with unrestricted working rights.
• Open to graduates from all degrees and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across Queensland Government to gain hands-on experience and tackle real-world challenges.
• Contribute to housing, health, education, and economic development initiatives.
• Support Brisbane 2032 preparations and drive public policy initiatives.
• Engage in public administration, governance, and strategic communications projects.
• Receive mentoring, e-learning and networking opportunities to fast-track your career.
