Duties of a Funeral Director's Assistant include:

  • Supporting our funeral services through the provision of vehicle and transport services ensuring vehicle presentation is always at a high standard
  • Working collaboratively to bring the deceased into our care with dignity and respect
  • Oversee proceedings on the funeral service on the day and ensure pre-arranged plans and ad-hoc requests on the day are appropriately implemented.

About you:

  • Strong customer service ethos and commitment to service delivery
  • Professional attitude with an empathetic and compassionate approach towards people
  • Be at ease working with grieving families and the deceased
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication and high attention to detail
  • Able to work full time hours Monday to Friday
  • Possess a full unrestricted driver's license.
