Job summary

Location: Sydney Client: Enterprise Finance Domain: Post Trade, Payments & Settlements

Overview

Our Client is seeking an experienced Test Analyst/Test Lead with strong expertise in post-trade banking and financial markets systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in validating critical trading, payments and settlement platforms within a highly regulated environment.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience testing post-trade banking or capital markets systems
• Strong understanding of payments, settlements and transaction processing
• Experience working with Calypso, particularly within Middle Office/Post-Trade environments
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle, confirmations, settlements and reconciliation processes
• Experience supporting large-scale testing programs across complex financial systems
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors

Highly Desirable

• Experience within a major Australian financial institution, ideally NAB Markets / Trading or a comparable trading environment
• Exposure to market infrastructure, clearing or settlement platforms
• Understanding of regulatory and operational controls within financial markets

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital markets testing, hands-on experience with Calypso, and a deep understanding of post-trade processing, payments and settlements. Experience gained within NAB's trading business or a similar institutional banking environment will be highly regarded.
