Job summary

The Distributors Queensland Cairns is seeking a motivated full-time Warehouse Picker/Packer/Storeman for our Townsville warehouse operations. The role covers order picking, stock replenishment, receivals, and forklift operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are available Monday to Friday from 7:00am, physically fit, with forklift experience or licences considered highly desirable. Join a locally owned distributor with opportunities for growth and a stable long-term position.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence (QLD) desirable
• Stand-up forklift experience desirable
• Must be available for full-time hours Mon-Fri 7:00am+
• Previous warehouse/storeman experience preferred
• Physically fit with ability to lift repetitively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner
• Replenish and rotate stock within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Receive and process incoming stock deliveries
• Complete receival and dispatch paperwork accurately
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Assist other warehouse staff as required
