Qualifications

• Experience driving rigid trucks with multi-drop deliveries.
• Full working rights in Australia and reliable, punctual work history.

Full-Time Truck Driver

OB Distribution Warehouse | Sydney Markets, Homebush

OB Distribution is part of QE Foodstores, a group of independent, family-owned grocery stores located across Sydney. Our warehouse team supports our stores by preparing and delivering fresh produce and other goods from Sydney Markets to our store locations.

We are looking for a reliable and professional Full-Time Truck Driver to join our Logistics team. You will be responsible for completing deliveries from our OB Distribution Warehouse at Sydney Markets to QE Foodstores across Sydney.

This is a Monday to Friday position, with shifts generally starting between 6:00 am and 7:00 am and finishing between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, depending on the delivery schedule and operational requirements. No weekend work is currently required.

Your Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading the truck safely using manual and electronic pallet jacks.
• Ensuring all loads are properly restrained and secured before leaving the warehouse and throughout the delivery run.
• Accurately completing all required delivery paperwork and manifests.
• Working closely with the logistics team to ensure deliveries are completed in the safest, most efficient and most timely manner.
• Providing friendly and professional service when delivering to our QE Foodstores.
• Helping to keep the truck, loading areas, yard and general work areas clean, tidy and free from safety hazards.
• Completing general yard and warehouse duties when deliveries have been completed or when additional assistance is required.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures, road rules and all load-restraint requirements.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Hold a current unrestricted NSW MR class driver licence or higher.
• Provide a current driving record or demerit point statement.
• Have full working rights in Australia.
• Have experience driving rigid trucks and completing multi-drop deliveries.
• Be experienced in safely operating both manual and electronic pallet jacks.
• Be physically fit and comfortable lifting, moving, loading and unloading boxes of fruit and vegetables.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be organised and able to accurately complete delivery paperwork and manifests.
• Have a strong track record of being reliable, punctual and professional.
• Be willing to assist with general warehouse and yard duties when not completing deliveries.
• Be 25 years of age or older due to the conditions of our vehicle insurance policy.
