Explore & Develop Terrigal is seeking a motivated Trainee Educator to begin a rewarding career in early childhood education. You will work full-time while completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, gaining hands-on experience in an Exceeding-rated service with mentoring from experienced educators.

You will learn to build strong relationships with children and families, support engaging activities, and contribute to our high-quality program.

Qualifications

• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to undertake a full-time traineeship
• Current references
• Genuine passion for working with children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Learn alongside experienced Early Childhood Professionals.
• Complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Build nurturing, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
• Support the implementation of engaging learning experiences based on children's interests.
• Assist with daily routines while maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
• Work collaboratively within a large professional team.
• Contribute to maintaining our Exceeding National Quality Standard practices.
