FULL TIME SENIOR CHEF at cafe in Brighton Beach SA

We have full time Senior Chef positions available at our beachside hospitality venue in Adelaide, S.A:

Cafe in BRIGHTON BEACH - THE SELLER DOOR - Jetty Rd, Brighton, SA

We are on the hunt for experienced Senior chefs to join our growing and amazing teams of chefs at The Seller Door cafe, 73 Jetty Rd, Brighton, SA.

The Seller Door cafe is a busy beachside venue, open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week (7am to 3pm), as well as seasonal dinner service in peak season (Friday/Saturday nights) and ad hoc private canapé style events in the evenings.

You will be a part of a small, energetic, creative, supportive, and fun team of chefs.

Primary tasks are leadership, menu creation assistance, contributing to special ideas, grill and fryer, plating, food prep and much more.

Must be readily available over the weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday - at least one weekend day is needed), and interest/ capacity to work some dinner service shifts (approx. 5pm to 9pm) and sporadic private evening catering events, is ideal but not necessary.

Must have 2 years experience in a similar role.

Full time - 38 hours PER WEEK.

The position will commence as Casual, however we are open to a full time contract /salaried positions following a short probation period.

Position can start following successful trial shifts, with on the job training and support, immediately.

Pay Guideline, based on Restaurant Industry Award:

Cook grade 4 to 5 (tradesperson) (wage level 5 to 6) dependant on qualifications and experience - we are open to negotiation. Casual rates subject to increases on weekends and Public Holidays.
