Thompson Health Care in the Sydney region is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join Wahroonga House on a full-time basis. Shift times are 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, and you will be based at Wahroonga House, 31 Pacific Highway Wahroonga NSW 2076, ensuring a safe, well-presented environment for residents.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years' experience completing maintenance for commercial businesses (desirable).
• Police Check (National Police Certificate) essential.
• Knowledge of Work, Health and Safety Requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain common grounds and shared spaces to a high standard of presentation.
• Perform general garden maintenance including mulching, planting, weed control, and lawn care.
• Operate garden and maintenance equipment (ride-on mowers, power tools, pressure washer).
• Carry out general building maintenance such as painting, lighting replacement, gutter cleaning, basic plumbing, tiling, and minor repairs.
• Follow preventative maintenance programs to upkeep buildings and outdoor areas.
• Identify and address hazards in line with WHS procedures; obtain quotes for repairs or maintenance tasks.
