Job summary

MTAA is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Auto Mechanic or 4th Year Apprentice to join our busy team in NSW. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with manufacturer training and a supportive service team.

You will diagnose, service and repair a range of light vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and conduct inspections to identify issues. The ideal candidate will hold a trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, have experience with various makes/models, hold a current driver’s

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified or 4th Year Apprentice in Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Experience servicing and repairing a range of vehicle makes/models
• Current driver’s license
• Reliable, motivated, good at working independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair light vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, suspension and engine repairs
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Conduct services and warranty in a multi-franchise business
