Job summary

Premier Transport Group in Toowoomba is seeking a Full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our depot. You will service and maintain a fleet of buses and coaches, perform fault finding and repairs, and conduct safety checks to keep vehicles on the road.

The role requires Australian work rights, a MR or higher-class license (unrestricted C class considered), and a demonstrated work ethic with the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Must have heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience.
• MR class license required (unrestricted C class considered).
• Forklift license desirable.
• Auto electrical experience desirable.

Premier Transport Group are currently seeking Full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our team at our Toowoomba Depot. You will be a motivated, and qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic with experience in servicing and maintaining diesel vehicles.

About the Role:

Full-time position, Monday to Friday with overtime hours available. Rotating roster.

Servicing and routine maintenance/safety checks on a fleet of Buses and Coaches.

Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of vehicles as required.

Working in line with safety guidelines and procedures.

About You:

Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia

Demonstrated strong work ethic, self-motivated, strong initiative and an ability to work independently and within a team

Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written), attention to detail, reliability and punctuality

Prior experience in heavy vehicle mechanics (diesel)

Currently hold a MR or higher-class License (Unrestricted C Class willing to upgrade also considered)

Forklift license and auto electrical experience desirable.
