Job summary

Trinity College is seeking an experienced Grounds and Maintenance Officer to care for playing fields, surrounds and gardens across the College.

The role supports teaching, learning and co-curricular programs, and requires turf management knowledge, safety discipline, and strong teamwork with the Facilities team. Applicants must have a SA Driver's Licence and be willing to work out-of-hours when required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Turf Management or Horticulture required.
• Cricket wicket maintenance experience an advantage.
• Flexible to work out of hours and during school holidays.
• Can work unsupervised and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices in a school environment.
• Hold a current South Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high amenity and garden maintenance to priority timelines.
• Maintain and prepare sporting fields and surrounds to College standards.
• Support landscape and turf renewal projects from planning to delivery.
• Conduct audits and safety checks to support maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with others to deliver the Customer Service Charter.
