Job summary

Coastal Group Engineering seeks a motivated Trade Assistant to join the Warnervale fabrication workshop. You will assist tradesmen with heavy fabrication, prepare materials, read measurements from drawings, and keep the workshop clean and safe, with strict compliance to procedures.

Ideally you hold an Australian Driver's Licence, have practical workshop experience and are keen to learn, with forklift training funded by the company. A full-time, long-term role with overtime is offered.

• Able to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradesman with heavy fabrication, assembly and general workshop duties.
• Prepare materials, tools and equipment for upcoming jobs.

• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop.
• Follow instructions and workplace safety procedures at all times.
