Job summary

Bupa Australia is seeking a dedicated cleaner for our Seaforth Care Home, Sydney NSW, with opportunities to cover shifts at Willoughby and Mosman. This role focuses on residents' health, lifestyle and well-being through empathetic, personal care and thorough cleaning across patient rooms and common areas.

You will contribute to safety, report documentation, and support laundry and catering tasks when needed, ensuring a comfortable home for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Cert III Hospitality highly regarded.
• Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Flexible shifts availability across the week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Ad hoc support to the broader team including laundry and catering

About the Home

This role will be based at our Seaforth Care Home, which is in close proximity to the Northern Beaches. Due to the close proximity of nearby Bupa care homes, you may also be asked to pick up shifts at our Willoughby and Mosman locations.

Bupa Seaforth is a unique home with plenty of onsite amenities. This large home accommodates 76 residents in superior accommodation with quality single ensuite rooms, and a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.
