Job summary

Rydges Geelong, part of the EVT Group, is seeking a chef to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will cook across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events while ensuring high quality, safety, and presentation standards.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will help with stock, ordering, and menu development, maintaining a clean kitchen and supporting front-of-house colleagues. Weekend/evening availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef in hospitality.
• Culinary qualifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a busy service environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.

About the Role
