Job summary

Prouds The Jewellers in Colonnades is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work with the Store Manager to foster a high-performing sales floor and nurture guest relationships.

As a member of Australia's iconic jewellery retailer, you’ll have opportunities for leadership development, involvement in recruitment and onboarding, and to take ownership of store operations when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous store leadership experience, ideally as Assistant Manager or 2IC.
• Genuine passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Able to coach, motivate and support others to achieve strong sales results.
• Confidence to step up and lead the store when required.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional, resilient and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to lead, inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, building authentic customer relationships and maximising every sales opportunity.
• Coach and motivate Team Members to achieve individual and store sales goals.
• Take ownership of store performance and operations when the Store Manager is away.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Team Members.
• Assist with store operations including inventory, administration, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention.
• Help create a positive, accountable team culture where great performance is recognised and celebrated.

You’ll bring:

• Previous retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Manager, 2IC, 3IC or senior sales professional ready for the next step.
• A genuine passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• The ability to coach, motivate and support others to achieve strong sales results.
• Confidence to step up and lead the store when required.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems calmly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with customers and your team.
