Job summary

Latitude IT is seeking a mid-level Full Stack Engineer in Sydney with hybrid work arrangements. The role focuses on delivering strong frontend experiences using React and TypeScript while contributing to Python-based backend development.

You will join a collaborative engineering team working across the stack to build and enhance customer-facing applications in a data-driven environment. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to design and deliver new features, improve code quality,

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Solid backend development experience using Python.
• An understanding of API integration and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• A collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to contribute across the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Building and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python.
• Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to design and deliver new features.
• Contributing to code quality, testing, performance and maintainability.
• Supporting cloud-based development and deployment practices.
