Job summary

Compass Education is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to new web applications and expand the Compass core platform. The role focuses on C#/.NET and React, with SQL and MongoDB databases, and involves working with Claude Code to speed up delivery.

You'll join a growth-stage education technology company with a hybrid Melbourne-based team, collaborating across product, design and engineering to deliver scalable software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Familiarity with C#/.NET and React stack.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Take on well-scoped pieces of work from ticket to production with product and engineers.
• Design, develop and maintain secure, high-performance software used by thousands of users.
• Scale new web applications and build features on top of the Compass core platform.
