Job summary

Domain, part of CoStar Group, is seeking a Software Engineer to own end-to-end features for Homepass across mobile and API platforms in Sydney, Australia.

You will apply TypeScript, React Native, Node.js, and AWS to build scalable systems for real estate professionals, participate in design reviews, testing, deployment, and production support, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
Strong full-stack skills with React Native/React and Node.js.
Ownership of features end-to-end from design to production.
Experience in cross-functional teams with Product and Design.
Experience building and operating backend services in production.

Responsibilities

Own and execute full lifecycle of projects: design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
Architect and implement scalable, reliable solutions.
Ship incrementally with clear risk assessment and rollback plans.
Ensure high-quality outputs through testing, code reviews, and test coverage.
Set engineering patterns via design docs and code reviews.
Lead legacy modernisation without destabilising running systems.
Collaborate with Product and Design in Agile environments.
